Navistar International awards TitanX

NavistarOn September 19th, 2008 Navistar awarded TitanX with 100% of their heavy-duty business for 2010. The length of the contract will be a minimum of three years.

TitanX will be producing cooling modules for three truck engines: 1.) The MaxxForce 11L, 2.) the MaxxForce 13L (both of which will be manufactured by Navistar through its joint-venture with MAN), as well as 3.) the Cummins ISX 16L.

In addition to winning this business, TitanX also stands to benefit from its new standing as a “preferred supplier” at Navistar.

Jamestown plant purchases new equipment
As part of its $8.5 million capital investment program this year, TitanX engine cooling spent more than $4 million on new equipment this week.The company's large purchases went toward two pieces of equipment, an electro welded tube mill and a semi-automated radiator stacker.
