Q.What is your role with us?
Currently, my role is Product Engineering Director, Oil Coolers and Test Laboratory Manager in Linköping
-
Q.Tell us a little about your background?
I studied Mechanical Engineering at Linköping University
-
Q.Why did you decide to join us?
When I was still a student, I got a summer job at the TitanX plant in Linköping. I also got the opportunity to work part-time at the TitanX tooling design department during my study period. When it was time for me to find a job I already knew TitanX quite well and liked it here, so I applied to open position as product engineer, which I though was an interesting job for me and I got the job!
-
Q.What opportunities does TitanX offer you?
For me, TitanX has offered the opportunity to work together with many skilled people in a broad range of engineering areas where I have been able to develop my competencies. I have worked within R&D, the product-engineering department, all my time at TitanX, but my roles and job tasks have varied a lot. I have always had challenging and interesting assignments. I had the opportunity to work with retarder oil cooler development in customer projects for many years, and I learned a lot. Among others, to collaborate with FEA and CFD engineers, test methods together with test laboratory engineers, stainless steel forming and brazing technology together with process and tooling engineers.

-
Q.Where do you see yourself add most value?
I believe my vast experience in oil cooler development is useful also in customer contacts with new projects, and internally to support technical improvement for existing production.
-
Q.What qualities would you look for in a new colleague eager to join?
I think it is good if you have experience from automotive or another high-pace industry. As a colleague, I would look for commitment and a positive approach, who thrives working together in a cross-functional team.
-
Q.Finally, what tip would you give to someone who wants to grow with us?
Show commitment and take the opportunity to broaden your competences on the job training.
